S(P)EEDKITS will use prototyping as a tool to push the development of shelter kit materials, structures and designs forward and allow for a reality check in terms of practicability, and lab-testing on materials and for assessment of the structural strength of the components, evaluation of the transportability of the specific type.

The four lab-scale prototypes for shelters types (+ packaging) will be tested, adjusted, described, characterized, and evaluated on structural safety, transportability and rapid deployment. This will happen in WP6.
