Vrije universiteit Brussel

Main role in S(P)EEDKITS

The Department ARCH of the Vrije Universiteit Brussel will assure that the criteria, set up by the different experts for the design of the shelter kits are taken into account in the different steps of the design process, especially with respect to the form finding and the structural analysis of the shelter kits
Further ‘flexibility’ and ‘adaptability will be implemented in the shelter kits, and optimisation with respect to light weight and rapidly deployable solutions will be performed. The VUB is also involved in the analysis and verification with prototyping. (WP2)
